Iyeseun Olusola Asieba is a consultant clinical pharmacist and public health professional. She recently completed the Special Doctor of Pharmacy Conversion Program at the University of Benin. Her career of about 30 years have been spread almost equally between hospital practice, community practice and development work, within the HIV/AIDS sector where she worked as Deputy Project Director with Howard University Global Initiative Nigeria. Iyeseun was recently registered as a member of the West African Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. Her interest in parenteral nutrition was stirred earlier in her career as she participated in parenteral nutrition services at the Royal Middlesex Hospital, London and she has been very concerned with the dearth of parenteral nutritional services in Nigeria despite the dire need. Excited about prospects of collaborating with ASPEN through the WASPEN Coordinator, Dr. Teresa Pounds and colleagues, she looks forward to working in areas of advocacy, partnerships and research to improve access to high quality nutrition support services in Nigeria.
